The baseline study of river; groundwater and sediment quality on the campus of Michigan State University consists of the collection of spatially and temporally distributed water and sediment samples and measurements. The goals of the study were to determine the current biogeochemical and hydro geological state of the water and the influence of MSU on the water. The five tasks, which accomplished these goals, were:
